The Environmental Health and Safety Program, housed within Risk Management Services, partners with UNT entities whose activities impact our water, land, and air to facilitate regulatory compliance and minimize potential environmental impacts. In addition, the group specializes in hazardous materials management and laboratory safety to support biological, chemical, and radiological applications for both the academic and operational divisions of the university.
Environmental Health and Safety provides outreach opportunities with the UNT community through a variety of trainings and strives to be a collaborative resource for all faculty, staff, and students. The group seeks partnerships with UNT organizations and activities in support of the general environmental and sustainability goals of the university.
