An Automated External Defibrillator (or AED) is a lightweight, portable device that is used to treat Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA).
SCA occurs when the heart malfunctions and stops beating unexpectedly. If not treated within minutes, SCA quickly leads to death. Anyone can help save a life by learning how to use an AED.
